Compensation – An award to someone usually money, maybe because they lost something, perhaps a hand, from injuries at work

Consistent – Stays the same, stable, even, doesn’t change over time

Crucial – Very important, decisive, maybe something necessary for a successful process

Delve – To search, to go through paperwork, maybe for an accounting figure, reaching for something

Disparaging – An opinion that something, someone, is of little value, trivialise, belittle

Disputes – Debate, an argument, a discussion, a quarrel, to disagree

Dues – Your entitlement, what you are owed, fair treatment, deserved encompassing Surround, enclose, to hold within, bound, to close in

Enumerating – List, itemise, catalogue, to name things one by one

Explicitly – Clearly explained, detailed, no confusion

Exploited – Make use of, put to good use, take advantage of, benefit from

Fired – To dismiss an employee, maybe they made a bad error, mistake, to let go

Freelance – Someone who is officially self-employed, can work for other businesses, maybe they have a skill

Indefinite – Doesn’t stop, goes on forever, unspecified, infinite, endless

Multi-faceted – Many, numerous, different, assorted, various

Mutually – Both agree, affects more than one, together, cooperation, partnership

Nitty-gritty – The most important aspects, or points, practical details, the basics, essentials, fundamental

Parties – People, or a group of people, a team, a political group, faction, alliance, association

Pivotal – A very important point, or evidence, central, vital, crucial, essential

Primary – of most importance, main, chief, key, central, first

Probationary – A process of testing, watching how someone perform in a new job

Proprietary – Ownership, licensed, protected by law, branded, patented

Provisions – In a document, a term, a cause, requirement, something provided, benefits

Salary – Regular payment for work done, earnings, pay, renumeration

Severance – Detachment, disconnection, separation, final pay

Specificity – Being detailed, in a document, being very clear, relating to one subject

Stipulations – A must have, must do, condition, requirement, conditions, provision, prerequisite

Terminate – To stop, to bring to an end, to stop the race, to stop the employment, to fire someone.
